About this workshop

What the day looks like

Most SME founders in Bangladesh did not learn to sell — they learned to survive a sale. You quote a price, someone bargains, you drop it a little, and call that negotiation. You post a product photo, get a few likes, and call that branding. Meanwhile the buyer who would have paid full price walked into a shop that looked like it knew what it was doing.

This session is built from your actual selling conditions: direct client relationships instead of a sales team standing between you and the buyer, price-sensitive buyers who negotiate as a habit, and personal reputation doing the work a company brand would normally do.

No business degree or sales title required. You just need to already be the one closing deals for your business — even if you have never called it closing — and be willing to say your actual pitch out loud and have it rebuilt in real time.

Run of the day

Hour by hour

  1. 9:00 PM

    From product-pusher to problem-solver

A quick live “sell me this pen” round — pitch something you actually sell and instantly see where a transactional pitch loses a buyer's trust.

  2. 9:10 PM

    Building value buyers actually feel

Fast drilling on questioning and listening, then framing your product around outcomes instead of features — the shift from a cheap option to a trusted one.

  3. 9:25 PM

Negotiation foundations: anchors, silence, your walk-away

Set the first number, use silence as leverage instead of filling it nervously, and identify your BATNA — so you stop negotiating from needing the deal to close.

  4. 9:40 PM

    Protecting your margin

Spot the buyer tactics you already face weekly — deadline pressure, good-cop/bad-cop, the classic “aro kombo hobe na?” nibble — and trade concessions instead of handing out discounts.

  5. 10:05 PM

Objection handling & closing the deal

Structured responses to the objections you hear every week — “onnno jaigay kom pacchi,” “aage dekhe niyi,” “porer month e nibo” — plus closing language you can use the same day.

  6. 10:25 PM

Your personal brand is your sales team

Why buyers here often trust a founder's face before a company name — and how to build a brand statement (who you are, what you do, why it matters) that sells for you when you are not in the room.

  7. 10:45 PM

    Making the brand visible

From how you show up on a video call to how your LinkedIn reads to a B2B client — practical fixes for the gap between doing good work and people being able to tell.

  8. 11:00 PM

Open floor: bring your real situation

Ask about your actual client, your actual price fight, your actual brand gap — worked through live, not hypothetically.

  9. 11:40 PM

    Your 30-day action plan

Close the session by writing down the three things you will change in your sales conversations starting the next morning.

What you take home

Yours to keep after the day

  • A sales conversation framework rebuilt around your actual product and buyers, not a generic template
  • Your top objection responses, written during the session
  • A one-line personal brand statement you can publish the same day
  • A negotiation walk-away line (your BATNA) written down for your next real deal
  • A digital certificate of completion
  • Access to the Geek Academy founder community

Who this is for

  • You are the one closing every deal for your business, and no one ever trained you how
  • You keep discounting because you do not know how to hold a price under pressure
  • Your product is good, but somehow you are still the “cheaper option” in every buyer's head
  • You want a LinkedIn presence and personal brand that actually brings in clients, not just likes

What to bring

  • A stable internet connection and a quiet space, especially for the live Q&A hour
  • An example of a real product or service you currently sell, to work with during the session
  • A notebook or notes app — several exercises ask you to write your own script in real time
